Sy Richardson has a recurring role in the twelve Emmy-nominated series Pushing Daisies, and his Fed Ex, Super Bowl Commercial Pidgeon was a 2008 Emmy nominated commercial. Sy Richardson also won the 2007 Best Actors Award at the 168 Hour Christian Film Festival.

Richardson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and brought up in Chicago Illinois. Richardson went to fourteen primary schools, five secondary schools, three universities and used seven-year driving for the Chicago Transits Authority. Following two years on dynamic obligation with the United States Navy, Richardson had an epiphany. "A craftsman is a free soul and weariness is a breath far from the grave."

Richardson began singing at twelve and composed and recorded his first record with Lil June and the Januarys at sixteen. In his mid-twenties, Sy & Lil June and the Januarys shaped their recording organization called Trans World Sound. When life slapped him in the face, Richardson knew it was time to further his training.

Sy moved on from UC Boulder with a BS in Journalism spend significant time in public relations and advertising. After a short spell with a few Colorado daily papers, Richardson picked up acting and joined the Heritage Square Opera House in Golden Colorado. Richardsonperformed in vaudeville shows and Olios from Salt Lake City Utah to St. Louis Mo for a long time. Weariness set in and Sy trek to Hollywood.

Richardson has showed up in excess of seventy motion pictures, fifty network shows and sixty plays. Richardson independently published five books African American Actors (how to live and function in Hollywood), 60 Questions (an occupied on-screen characters guide for building characters), Cold Reading Made Simple, The Popcorn Cook Book and PEP (petition to God training & perseverance) for Christian Entertainers. Richardson has gone around the United States addressing the most proficient method to Live in Work in Hollywood and PEP for Christian Entertainers.

Richardson composed, guided and created three shorts movies Last Chance, Us Against Them and Familiar Strangers. Richardson co-delivered and steered the Symposium 98, a narrative, for the SAG/AFTRA EEOC office. Richardson coordinated "TREE" for the Los Angeles Opera Foundation. Richardson's South Of Where We Live won one out of three selections for the NAACP Image Awards in 1988. Summers In Suffolk was designated for three NAACP Image Awards in 1996.
