“You packed so much great information into those 8 hours that my head was spinning afterwards! Best of all, you taught every aspect of looping and approached it from such a positive “can do” place that it was infinitely easier to get my hands dirty and make mistakes so I could learn.”  --Stuart Paap

“Class is a "wow": expansive in scope, with an approach both supportive
and challenging in exactly the right mix, and darned fun too.  I know I will never listen to a movie the same way again, now that I know what went into
those looping performances.” --John Reimer

“It was a really great day.  I appreciate the fact that you were organized and presented things clearly and unambiguously.”  --Linda J. Carter

“Thanks for the informative workshop.”   Yumi Iwama

“Thank you!  I had a blast.  It was educational and fun.  This class is a very useful tool for any actor.  Many times actors are asked to loop their own work, and your class gives the information and confidence actors need to go in there and get the job done right the first time.”  --Kathleen Lambert

“There wasn’t a dull moment!.”  --David Nathan Schwartz

“Loop De Loop gave me the confidence and know-how to jump right into the world of looping.  It was such a fun environment  and I'm so grateful for the tools Johnny and Jason gave me.” --Jeremy Glazer

“Thanks for a great day of learning and discovery! I had fun and am on my way to honing a new skill.” --Gideon Emery

The screening of the movie "GET LOW"

The screening of the movie "GET LOW" is coming again.

I have seen this movie twice! At the DGA, and at The Motion Picture Film Academy. This is a very moving movie! Watch for a moving performance by Bill Cobbs, and an all-star cast.

The Hollywood "Red Carpet" Premiere of "Get Low" was a huge success with a star-studded debut at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly hills; followed by a fully catered after party in the Grand Lobby. A very special thanks to Bill Cobbs, who stars in the role Rev. Charlie Jackson for inviting me to join him for this very special event. Cobbs performance was outstanding, with the A list cast, including Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, Bill Murray, Lucas Black, Gerald McRaney, and more [attend by several of the Hollywood elite].

This is the second screening I have had the pleasure of seeing [even better the second time], the first time being a few weeks ago at the Directors Guild of America. "Get Low is filled with emotions, real life situations, and tremendous messages!" In my opinion, if you are looking for a great film, add Get Low to the list of "must see movies" WHEN it came time to fill the lead role in “Get Low” — which embellishes the real-life story of a septuagenarian Tennessee hermit who gave his own “funeral party” in 1938 while still alive — the options weren’t plentiful for the people behind the film. Plot: A movie spun out of equal parts folk tale, fable and real-life legend about the mysterious, 1930s Tennessee hermit who famously threw his own rollicking funeral party... while he was still alive. Film - Robert Duvall, in ‘Get Low,’ Still a Hollywood Darling - NYTimes.com www.nytimes.com

Robert Duvall, star of “Get Low,” is among a handful of A-list actors who have neared or reached 80 while suffering little to no career slowdown.
