Welsh-born multi award-winning composer Ceiri Torjussen; his credits roll through a multitude of mediums from independent films to large-budget studio films, network TV to animations and documentaries.

During his career Torjussen has composed additional music for the likes of Repo Men and Elsewhere (including the title theme), Scary Movie II and Hollywood blockbusters such as Live Free or Die Hard and Underworld Evolution. In 2007, he received a Daytime Emmy Nomination for Best Original Score for the popular animated series Dive Olly Dive. His most recent projects include: Test (Grand Jury Award 2013 Outfest) a drama set during the 1980s with a gloomily resonating electronic score; Big Ass Spider! (premiered SXSW, 2013)an action comedy featuring a full orchestral score with an edge of hard-rock and a nostalgic nod to the classic Hammer Films of the 1950s and The Canal, premiering at Tribecca 2014 – a psychological thriller featuring heavily the use of sound manipulation of acoustic instruments and an original 1907 Edison wax cylinder player.

Aside his extensive career in film, Torjussen is an accomplished composer of concert music. Groups such as the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Vale of Glamorgan Festival and the Henry Mancini Institute have not only commissioned him but his work has been recorded and released commercially all over the world being performed in countries including the USA, UK, Germany, France and India.

He is known the be a ‘White Druid of the Island of Britain’,Dive Olly Dive (2006 – 2010), Scary Movie 2 (2001) and Dracula 2001.
