ActorsReporter was at AFI this year and had the pleasure of speaking with Alan Flores the CEO of the Gamebot school.  Alan was on site at the event to work towards the education of children and to assist them with learning how to storyboard as well as to think about the way that they want to create games.  The gaming world is an ever changing mechanism and technology is driving that change every moment.  Whether that change is happening through a new consul or a new program to be able to design them it is something that is changing and is transforming all industries from the film industry to many other medias.

With over 20 years of experience in the gaming world Alan has found many ways to be able to change everything about the way that software functions and that it is able to redesign the space of the world.  In the past if you wanted to be able to design a video game that meant that you knew how to code.  And yet now that is in fact the complete opposite, there are programs that allow you to design the space with a simple drag and drop and will allow you to accomplish the same thing that before required coding and tons of time and patience.

Cross pollination is happening across the industries as well as there is content that is coming from video games and effects are being used in movies.  In addition to this in the past year there were many Hollywood blockbusters which were in fact being made after video games.  Alan is working on making many consul games and is in the process of expanding his focus as well as focusing on learning the technology so he can improve teaching.  Currently he has virtual classes as well group and one on one student sessions.

Alan was interviewed by Kurt Kelly, "The Voice of Experience" who is known in the industry for his innovation as well as his probing interviewing method which ensure that he is always keeping his viewers in the loop.  He is one of the most sought after hosts in Hollywood.
