History can repeat itself, and we are part of "Making History" on planet earth. Over the years Broadcaster - Entertainer, Kurt Kelly has dedicate a large part his philanthropic efforts to Saving The Rain Forest, among many other benefactors of his global effects. Flashback to ABC Los Angeles when Kurt arrived in Hollywood to "The Rock of Southern California, 95.5 F.M. - K.L.O.S.; where as talent and management, ABC also consented to Kelly's other global

interests. 

Nearly 30 years ago, Kurt Kelly was producing globally syndicated specials with Elvira, Cast Members of Saturday Night Live [of the era], concerts and live broadcasts with members of The Eagles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Roger Waters, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, The Grateful Dead, Richard Marx, Motorhead, Dave Mason, KISS, Corey Feldman, Belinda Carlisle, Guns 'N Roses and an endless A-List cast of celebrities.

It is a great pleasure to say a few a few kind words about my friend Kurt Kelly, a man whose boundless energy and enthusiasm has been seasoned by a decade of "front office" dealings.


Quite by accident, our association began in 1984  as I was preparing a series for Anheuser-Busch on the burdeoning success of soundtracks. I was driving to a meeting when Kurt came of my car radio. Immediately I knew he had a voice that would "play in Peoria," and what the hell, he was already making it in L.A.! By days end we had a deal.

Fortunately, my gut instinct was not only proven out by the series' success, but Kurt's involvement directly resulted in 3 top ten station clearances, much to the surprise, (and relief, I'll now admit) of my New York/London partners, who "strongly urged" me to reconsider my decision by hiring a "recognizable" name host they had waiting in the wings.

(I not only pride myself in my ability to pick a "winner", nu I also have the good sense to stick with one!)

And the rest, as they say, is radio syndication history... Literally. Our 10 year working relationship proudly boasts a long list of national & international "exclusives" featuring the cream of the Rock crop, including The Doors, Heart, Journey, et.

In 1988 our "Crosby, Stills & Nash 4 Hour UNICEF Radiothon" resulted in the war in El Salvador stopping four days to immunize over 100,000 women and children with the money we raised.

But then, I'm sure Kurt will fill you in on the details much better then I can. You'd be wise to give him the opportunity.

Hello, these are a few of the lies and spin control I am talking about at the very highest levels. Leaders and heads of business have lies to the public for years to gouge profits at the expense of humanity. Personally, I can't compete with Big Business to buy votes, and candidly they should not be allowed to buy votes. Since when did any major company have the rights to the right of citizenship and to votes. Are these self imposed or God given rights. Where do I buy some rights?! If that's the case then every landed immigrant legal or otherwise should vote to, what the hell; it doesn't count anyway when big money buys ballot boxes and stuff's them. full to tip the votes. Unfortunately news media is run by, you guess it; big business. Clearly no News Agency want to upset a major advertiser and forfeit millions in earnings due to covering the story that hurt the advertiser. Sadly even news is available at a price, and Justice, is for Just Us Who Can Afford it. Now if lawmakers had the same laws to live by that they make, most would be in prison for kickbacks, bribes, and other major white collar crimes. What gives them this unorthodox self-righteous set of rules and privileges? Are they too not citizens of the same country; and if so, why are they in a special club where it's okay to steal from the public for personal gain. Being born into the book of Who's Who for Politics and World Leaders bring you into a world of deception, spin control, and back-door deals! Sadly, that's why I didn't want to follow the family heritage; because even as a child I could see the hypocrisy.
