ActorsE Chat is having a special flashback show today to cover some of its most valuable interviews at AFM 2013.  Included in the shoe today are Theo Crisell, Shad Gaspard, Eric Karson, and Mathius Mack Gertz.  Tune in Live Today at noon here: http://www.ActorsE.com.  Each one of the interviews shed awesome insight into the careers of these men and also allowed us to know about current projects and what was going on at the market for each.

Theo Crisell is a name everyone knows whether from politics or from Hollywood.  Theo has been an actor since he was 7 years old and was almost selected by Donna Reid to play her son on the Donna Reid show.  With all of the time that he has spent both directing, producing, and acting he has also spent many years serving both his fellow man and also many charitable causes.  Kurt Kelly, "the Voice of Experience" was at AFM and had the chance to really sit down with Theo and to talk with him about what makes him tick as well as what he is currently doing to help others.
Theo at a young age determined that he wanted to be a bit of an activist, when the time came to be a part of Vietnam, Theo instead went to India where he was a part of the Peace Corp.  Upon returning from India, Theo saw many of his friends not return from the war, or return with PTSD.  For that reason one of his main causes became raising awareness for veterans who have gone abroad and returned to the U.S. with PTSD.  The Very film which Theo was at AFM promoting was called The Last Fight.  The film is the story of a Vietnam vet who returns from the war and is homeless due to his mental illness, he rises up from his situation and becomes a boxer, going into the ring for a new and different kind of fight.
Theo in the political arena is known as Ted is deciding to make a major change as he has gone in to politics to work and raise awareness for the homeless vets as well as for many other political issues which need more light cast on them by the general public.
Theo has also played major characters in quite a few movies such as opposite Dennis Hoffman in Little Fockers, in which he played an amazing Flamenco dancer.  Leo has starred in over 20 films and has directed in 17, he is also becoming a prominent player in the political arena.

At AFM 2013 Kurt Kelly caught up with actor Shad Gaspard who has been a part of the theater and acting world for many years.  Originally from New York, Shad has been working in California on many new upcoming projects such as a combination video game and television show.  Shad started in the industry as a pro-wrestler and became a household staple on WWE Smackdown and WWF Raw.
Shad is not only known for his amazing talent in the ring but has been branching out into other things as well such as Shakespeare and has become a phenomenon in his iambic pentameter.  Some of Shad's favorite plays include Macbeth as well as many other psychological thrillers which have been assisting him to take his place on the classical stage as a phenomenon.
Shad has been taking many different roles as well in action movies.  He is also set to star in a major action flick which will be released next year as the lead.  He was at AFM promoting Assassin and Son a new video game which is slated to be released in the next 6 months about a son and his father and an assassination ring.

Kurt Kelly caught up with Mathius Mack Gertz at AFM 2013. Mathius has been creating amazing films for years both as a producer and a director.  Having attended AFM for many years, Mathius has met a large amount of creative personalities from artists to many others.  In that time he worked on many films which have found their way into distribution by many different large companies.  He has produced horror films as well as dramas over the years and has worked across many different fields.

He has worked across many different industries and has produced radio shows such as his stint in talk radio on the show as The Spiritual Seeker where he produced for Michael Levine.  In addition to that he has also spent time working in the finance and in the marketing industry.  Mathius spent time in many different fields before returning to LA.  When he returned he picked up where he had left off and again was working on in the industry.

Mathius worked as the executive producer on a dark comedy called Commit in which he was able to find major distribution as well as start to learn the business model of the industry.  Two strangers meet at a coffee shop for what seems like a blind date. But as the conversation progresses, it becomes clear that this couple, who have never seen each other face to face and who met on the Internet, have actually formed a suicide pact. Problems arise when the couple realizes that they may have finally found something worth living for. Comprised of three continuous takes-one take for each act-and shot over the course of two days, Commit is witty and disturbing, as well as an inspirational achievement in independent film making.

In addition to this film, Mathius has a horror film which will be coming out next year called Seven Nights.  This is a film which represents what happens to a man when he gets what he wants sometimes not the way he wanted it.

Mathius also began to learn about the business and decided to go into consulting as well as to start his own website as well as to lecture to teach other creative people how to make it in the industry.  He has written a book which is getting ready to come out called, How to Create Pull, which teaches people how to establish themselves and do business in Hollywood.  The business side of things is always one of the most complicated parts of the process and for that reason, Mathius wanted to share both in book and lecture formats his knowledge with people.

Eric Karson caught up with Kurt Kelly as well this year at AFM.  This is the second time that Eric has interviewed with Kurt.  Eric is primarily known for action films such as Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme, and many others.  He is working on his next project which is an action comedy starring beautiful actress and beauty queen Sophia Skya.

Kurt and Eric discussed the way the industry is changing as well as how things are improving with technology.  All of the gentlemen were interviewed by Kurt Kelly, "The Voice of Experience" who is a staple and mogul in the industry keeping you plugged into everything Hollywood.
