EASY WAYS TO HELP BIG SUNDAY!

A few quick things

• Help Big Sunday Win Big Bucks! This is cool: Chase Bank is giving $25K (!) to one hundred local charities – and all our friends on Facebook get to decide who wins. All you have to do is VOTE for Big Sunday on Facebook by Dec. 11th – it’s that easy. Think of all the good we can do with that money! Please spread the word. (And thanks for your vote.)

• Holiday Giving. Don’t forget to check out the 7th (or 8th) Annual Big Sunday Holiday Volunteering and Giving Opportunities List. Tons of people have already helped (thanks!) – but there are still plenty of organizations that need donations and volunteers. (There’s a bunch of updates, too.) Just go to the Big Sunday website and click on “Holiday Giving” for the full list.

• Want to get more involved? You’re invited to a meeting this Sunday, Dec. 6th, from 3 to 5 pm to learn how you can help on Big Sunday Weekend 2010 (May 1st & 2nd). As always, everyone – volunteers, nonprofits, schools, faith groups, businesses, sponsors – is welcome. It will be casual and fun. Plus, there will be good snacks and no obligation.
