Hi, Kurt,


This morning while I was stuffing the turkey, I was thinking about you.  Don't read too much into that - it had little to do with the turkey :)  I started to think about how amazing the last two years have been, how quickly they have flown by, and how they wouldn't have been the same without you.

Today I am so very grateful for you.  My greatest fear in stepping into the "spotlight" was that I would somehow jeopardize my family.  Thankfully, what happened instead, is that my family grew enormously.  Thank you for being such an important person in my life and in our community.

As a leader who does so much for others, I hope today you find time to do something special for yourself.   You deserve it!

I look forward to being with you again soon.
