After a long struggle with pancreaticcancer, everyone at ALL ACCESS is very saddened to report that industry veteranMICHAEL SCURLOCK passed awayYESTERDAY morning (6/27). He was a longtime friend to many in his role as a record promoter, at MCA, IRS, VIRGIN, and many more companies over the years, including his own promotion firm,MUSIC MATTERS.

ALL ACCESS President & Publisher JOEL DENVER noted, "MICHAEL was truly one of the nicest folks I've ever had the pleasure of calling a friend. Kind, generous, and always positive with a good word for all and a winning smile.  He struggled hard to win this battle with the help of his wife DIANE, and I'm truly sorry to see him go. But he was in such pain for many months, so he's in a better place now."
