The movie “Without Men”, which stars Eva Longoria, Christian Slater, Paul Rodriguez, Judy Reyes [Scrubs], Kate del Castillo, Oscar Nuñez [the Office], and Maria Conchita Alonzo has just completed shooting. Without Men has recently recruited veteran entertainment industry professional, Executive Producer – Director, Kurt Kelly [Founder of Live Video, Inc]; who has recently joined the production for Post Production completion and the films forthcoming domestic and International release.

The script for Without Men is adapted from an *amazing* novel called TALES FROM THE TOWN OF WIDOWS by Colombian novelist James Canon. The novel has now been translated into several languages and has won many awards around the world. Casting Directors: Paul Schnee and Kerry Barden, handled casting for Without Men, which has been receiving excellent reviews everywhere it's been published.

“Without Men” which is based on the best-selling novel “Tales from the Town of Widows,” and is a comedy about the women of a small and remote Latin American mountain village. The village becomes forever altered the day all of its men are recruited to go fight in the country’s civil war. Left to fend for themselves, the women of the town, led by Rosalba (“Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria), slowly emerge from their supporting roles as wives and daughters to become unwitting founders of a remarkable new society: an all-female utopia. When the men return to try to reclaim their power, a clash of sexes ensues with unsuspected consequences. A sexy, fun, irreverent exploration of the age-old question: What would the world be like if it were run by women?

Gabriela “Gabi “ Tagliavini who is the Writer/Director of Without Men is best known for her film “LADIES NIGHT,” one of the most successful Mexican films in Mexican Box Office history. Grossing $7 million at the box office [in the same year the #1 film in Mexico did $14 million], LADIES NIGHT, was a monster hit. Gabi who is actually of Argentine/Italian is great in a room with actors. Tagliavini [who is represented by UTA ], has the pitch perfect approach and vision for this elegant comedy.
