Thought you would like to know that Joyce Castellanos is stating her new work group for Promo and Trailers. Joyce is an amazing instructor and I highly recommend her classes. Clearly Joyce is one of the best! I have taken both the Promo and Trailer series of her classes and feel that it was a tremendous experience, as well as a good refresher. Joyce Castellanos

A hidden gem with over 25 years as an audio director/producer for the promo departments at NBC, Disney Channel, Warner Marketing, and The WB Television Network. Joyce has worked for over nine years as an instructor, covering both promos and trailers. Joyce works very hard to keep current with the changing trends.

A presenter on the last Bob Bergen Cruise in 2006, Voice 2008 in L.A. and in constant demand for several venues, Joyce is one of the most generous entities in the biz. It will be a rare treat to work with one of the most successful Promo/Trailer coaches in the industry.

Here's the information on my Thursday workshop and thank you for forwarding it to those you think my be interested. They can call me directly with any questions.


I'll be starting my Thursday workshop this week, January 22nd, from 7-10PM. The cost is $400 per four-week segment, and cash, check, or credit card is fine.


We'll be meeting at Track Entertainment, 13848 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA. This is three blocks West of Woodman at the corner of Ventura and Stern. Turn South on Stern, park, come up the stairs and take the walkway to the left, and we're the last door on the right.


The workshop is twelve weeks, set up as three four-week segments (beginning, intermediate, and advanced). Each segment increases in difficulty and gives us an opportunity to explore different genres. During the workshop we'll establish your signatures and sounds, and determine where your sounds are appropriate.


I like to keep my classes to a ma ximum of eight students so I can get you in the booth four rounds each week, except for week one which is mostly information and one time at the mic.
