The EZ Show with TV & Films Bad Guy Actor Said Faraj

Said Faraj is a director and award-winning actor originally from war-torn Lebanon. As a young boy, Said reports that he was infatuated with acting after watching Les Miserables. Said traveled to the United States in October 1983 with nothing more than the clothes on his back, and sought to make a better life. At that time, Said found himself taking tedious jobs within the fast food industry just to keep himself afloat. Said always had the intent to break into acting so he enrolled in several workshops and acting classes to perfect his craft.

Over time this goal paid off as Said embarked towards his lifelong journey of becoming a professional full-time actor. Said made this goal and conquered it. Said has performed in a number of unforgettable films. Said is notable for his roles in Green Zone (2010), Ghost (1990), The Siege (1998), Bad Influence (1998), and True Romance (1993). Said’s television credits include many hits such as Bones, ER, NCIS: LA, 24, The Shield, The Unit, and many more.

Most recently in 2012, Said opened his own production company, Cedar Films, LLC. Said marked his writing, production and directorial debut with the film American Failure (2013). Cedar Films, LLC has produced the short film, which has since premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and went on to win several awards at many film festivals across the United States including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Director.

Growing up as a boy during the 1940s and 1050s in Israel, before becoming a state, was a childhood that included living to survive the numerous attacks and massacres by the Arabs against the Jews. The English separated the Jews and Arabs and instigated hatred between them. The motto of the Arabs was to get rid of the Jews by throwing them into the sea. What was it like to grow up in such an environment?
Reuven spent many years in England studying at RADA and participated in international professional actors course directed by Sir Lawrence Olivier at the Old Vic.
The movies Reuven made in Israel, which are still legends today, Salamonico I and Salamonico II, the Father. Salamonico I screened at the Cannes Film Festival and Salamonico II, the Father screened at the Berlin Film Festival and won first prize for best picture and best actor.
After finding success in the theatre in Isreal, Reuven moved to the United States and found success in TV and Film, appearing in Casablanca, Taxi, Sadat, Hill Street Blues, Masada, MacGyver, Murder She Wrote, Seinfeld, and even appearing in the hugely successful Adam Sandler movie You Don’t Mess With The Zohan.

Fun Facts to Know About the Filming Location for Lake Eerie:
We shot Lake Eerie in an old lake house that is actually HAUNTED! We hired 3 teams of ghost hunters who captured proof that the house is in fact haunted, and we have behind the scenes footage from production coming soon! For future updates on the project, please like our Facebook fan page to see the paranormal activity captured in the haunted lake house.
The haunted lake house was built in 1918, and still has all of the original furniture from the 1920′s. It is like going back in time when walking in the house. It is believed that there are multiple ghosts residing there.

Being a legend in Hollywood does not come easy.  And here is one of the most legendary actresses in recent time to tell her story on ActorsE Chat.Being discovered at a Hollywood lunch counter is the myth usually associated with Lana Turner. In the case of Robin Riker, however, it is actually true, although at the time Robin was behind the counter, serving burgers.

Two months after her arrival in Hollywood, a television producer, who was a regular patron of the hamburger stand, decided to produce a story on the aspiring actress for his weekly magazine show. A few weeks later, Robin had 15 minutes of the most coveted tool an aspiring actress can have in her Hollywood arsenal: actual, professionally produced and aired footage. She hasn’t stopped working since.
Being able to say you have an agent and film on yourself only two short months after arriving in town was an amazing gift. “I certainly can’t call it an accomplishment,” says Robin. “It was as though my immediate good luck was the universe’s way of saying, “Okay here are a couple of signs that you made the right choice. Now… learn patience.”

Robin had been a theatre actress since the age of two. The third generation of performers from both sides of her family, she was “born in a trunk.” Actually she was almost born in a taxi on the Brooklyn Bridge, but that’s another story. Her parents, professional actors, who owned and ran theatres, had the very practical philosophy, “If you have children, use them.” Classically trained Robin grew up on stage, backstage, in the box office and selling cookies in the lobby. Even after starring in many TV series, films and countless episodics, the stage remains Robin’s first love and her favorite version of soul food. She’s been lucky enough to split her time between stage, film and television since her arrival in Hollywood.
Her stage credits include the critically acclaimed production of Arthur Miller’s All
My Sons with Neil Patrick Harris, Len Cariou and Laurie Metcalf at The Geffen Playhouse for which she received an Ovation nomination as Best Supporting Actress, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, at The Blank Theatre which garnered her a Best Actress nom also from the Ovation Awards. She worked at the Matrix Theatre in the late George Furth’s play Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, and Sex
for which she received both LA Weekly and Ovation award noms for Best Supporting Actress. Cannibals at The Zephyr Theatre, The Kiss at City Hall
for the Pasadena Playhouse, The Falcon Theatre with Tony Danza in Bernard Slade’s I Remember You, The Ladies Room in both Los Angels and San Francisco and two off Broadway productions, Pied-a Terre
and Welcome to the Woods. The latter of the two was part of the New York 400 Festival
Her television work includes starring roles in six series. Among them are, The
Gregory Hines Show on CBS, Thunder Alley with Edward Asner on ABC, Get a
Life for FOX (her episode, Zoo Animals on Wheels, was named by TV Guide
as, One of the 50 funniest moments in TV history ) Shaky Ground, also for FOX and the ground breaking SHOWTIME series, Brothers for which she received two Ace Award nominations as Best Actress in a comedy.
Ms. Riker was most recently seen playing Hector Elizondo’s two times ex-wife on
Tim Allen’s ABC series Last Man Standing, followed by a recurring role on FX network’s Justified. Spring of 2013 marked the release of Devil May Cry a motion capture video game in which she stars playing multiple roles: a demon with too much plastic surgery, a teenager at a disco and, her favorite…a giant vomiting slug with the head and torso of a woman…kinda.
With well over a hundred television appearances, Robin can be seen in
recurring roles in wide variety of shows such as The Glades, Reba, HBO’s Hung and Boston Legal as well as guest starring roles on dozens of shows including Switched at Birth, NCIS, and BONES. She also played the role of Beth Logan on 60 episodes of the CBS soap, The Bold and the Beautiful.
Her first feature film, Alligator, has become a cult classic and was recently
named by the WhatCulture! website as possessing the “12th Scariest Movie
Monster That Came From Below.” Robin has appeared in several Disney films
Including Read it and Weep, Brink and, Don’t Look Under the Bed, as well
as a number of Indie films: Divorce Invitation, Save the Date, Holly’s
Holiday and Christmas Everyday, and two Hallmark films: This Magic Moment, and Gone but not Forgotten with Brooke Shields and Scott Glenn.

Gaudio’s associate, Al Kasha, introduced Randell to lyricist Sandy Linzer. The duo wrote several Top 10 songs for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, including “Working My Way Back to You” (also a hit for The Spinners in 1979, and in Ireland for Boyzone in 1994), “Opus 17 (Don’t You Worry ‘Bout Me)”, and, with Bob Crewe, “Let’s Hang On!”. Randell and Crewe later co-wrote Valli’s solo hit “Swearin’ To God”.
In 1965, Randell and Linzer wrote and produced most of the songs for the R&B girl group, The Toys, including their singles A Lover’s Concerto (adapted from Minuet in G major, a classical music piece), and “Attack!” Another Toys recording written by the duo, Can’t Get Enough Of You Baby, was later covered by the garage band ? and the Mysterians and, in 1998, was a #14 hit when covered by Smash Mouth. They also had a hit with Jay and the Techniques’ “Keep the Ball Rollin’”.

Linzer and Randell wrote two songs recorded by The Monkees, “I’ll Be Back Up On My Feet” and “The Day We Fall in Love”, and “Penny Arcade” by The Cyrkle. They later wrote “Native New Yorker”, performed by Odyssey on the soundtrack of the film Eyes of Laura Mars; it was later featured in the film The Nanny Diaries and the final year of HBO’s Sex and the City. Other co-writes include “Breakin’ Down The Walls Of Heartache”, a major UK hit in 1968 for Johnny Johnson and the Bandwagon, and Samantha Sang’s 1978 chart hit “You Keep Me Dancin’”.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Randell worked in A&R for several companies, including Epic, RCA, and Frank Zappa’s DiscReet Records, for whom he produced Tim Buckley’s album Sefronia. He also produced the Iron Butterfly album Scorching Beauty. Later in the decade, he co-wrote and arranged the album Get Dancin’ by Disco Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes. In 1980 he co-wrote the Star Wars-themed album Christmas in the Stars, which featured singer John Bongiovi (later Jon Bon Jovi).

In 1985, he teamed up with songwriter and singer Biddy Schippers and formed the duo Randell & Schippers, who recorded a number of successful electronic dance tracks including Alice in Wonderland. The pair later married. In recent years they have worked together on the GI Jams project, which aims to develop and spotlight songwriting talents in the U.S. military.

Denny was born in New York city and then settled in Maryland.  He learned to play accordion as well as piano at any early age.  He also started to publish songs and then came to the attention of a major music company in New York.  He as then brought on as a staff music writer.
