Entertainment Independent Contractors
- Audio Editor to take “raw” tracks, and produce final masters for audio book titles, narrations, and other projects. Each book will be 7-10 hours of finished audio. Editor will need available and able to edit and deliver final master files to within a week from the day you receive the book title. Will need to know how many finished books can be produced in a week from delivery of “raw” tracks. After we receive the book we will QA the book and send you a list of pick-ups (if any) a week after we receive the first set of audio. At that time you will need to be available to edit and deliver final master files send back to within a two day period. Other additional projects may record audio sweeting, multi-track mixing, demo and scratch track production and related projects. Must provide current examples of credited work via posted web links, and verifiable work and personal references. Must be a levelheaded team player who is able to self-direct, as well as take direction, and able to deliver approved final episodes in a very timely fashion. Experience with Adobe Audition, CS5 Master Suite, QuickTime Pro, Protools, Windows Media and/or other audio programs a big plus. Attention to detail is paramount. Must be able to work, and deliver post work in cross platform formats as needed [Apple, Windows, etc.]. Email submissions only, no calls. Professional decorum is a must, and proper dress attire is required for Celebrity, and high profile events. Gear supplied, if you have additional gear of high professional broadcast quality, it is a plus. Must have a clean record and able to pass security clearances if required. The ideal candidate is quick on their feet, more left brain than right, positive, a nonsmoker, and has a very strong work ethic; and solid references to back it up. Must own a reliable working car, keep confidentiality at all times, and work in home office with no cat or other allergies. Minimum of 2 years of College, 4 years preferred. A very strong working knowledge, experience and the ability to perform above and beyond in these areas:
