Kurt Kelly Sits Down With Rick Najera on ActorsE Chat

Kurt Kelly will be sitting down today with California native, Rick Najera on ActorsE Chat. Rick has been a part of many different medias including film, television, and Broadway. he has also won many different awards across the space as a producer, director, author and comedian. His career has blossomed over the years to become one of the most promising public speakers as well. Rick became a part of Travis Smiley's High Quality Speaker's Bureau.
Rick champions diversity and has traveled throughout the states speaking on it, even for fortune 100 companies like Google and the World Bank. Also as a comedian he has had many specials on television throughout the years such as Najera in America which was the perfect fusion of the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.
After releasing his 4th book in 2013 he has created a memoir which is a funny look at what it is like to be a Latino in Hollywood. His memoir is very thought provoking and has become a candid discussion behind the velvet rope in Hollywood. His book is called: Almost White: Forced Confessions of a Latino in Hollywood. In his book Rick explores the background of being Latino in Tinseltown as well as his roots which stretch back to his presence as a media strategist for some of the best companies and celebrities in town. He has served as a VIP representative, a strategist and has an inside view behind the golden exterior of Hollywood.
In addition to that he has produced and co produced many specials for awareness in the media. He produced a campaign for one media outlet called Taco Shop which was featuring Edward James Olmos and Tyler Posey. He also has co written a film with Debra Messing and John Leguizamo called Nothing Like the Holidays. In addition to this he has also won an ALMA Award for his films. He also has won many awards for Broadway plays he has produced or written.
Rick has also written for Mad TC and In Living Color, he is also a member of the WGA and Scribe. Rick's name is one that is recognizable to anyone who follows comedy or the media as he has been a part of some of the best productions for the past 20 years.
