WEIGHTLESS MOVIE CASTING
Richard Hicks, the Casting Director of the movie ‘Gravity’, ‘Hairspray’, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ and others, is currently casting an independent feature film called WEIGHTLESS, starring Nick Nolte ('48 Hours') and Jason Clarke (‘Zero Dark Thirty’).
A nationwide search is on in both the USA and Canada, for a young boy to play the leading role of ‘Will’, age 8-12. He’s a quiet, shy boy who weighs approximately 150-200+ lb or more. Ethnicity open.
'Weightless' is a touching story about a relationship between a father and a son. The film also addresses the impact of issues such as bullying and divorce .
No acting experience is required for this role. Boys fitting this description can audition by submitting a video interview by early May, with the deadline possibly being extended if needed.
The film is set to shoot during the late summer in the Albany/Schenectady area of Upstate New York.
