Dayna personally wrote the first two series of Veronica Mars which launched the career of Kristen Bell.  In addition to that Dayna was also the co-executive producer on Lincoln Heights for 3 seasons as well.  Dayna won the 2008 NAACP Image Award for her show.  In addition to this she also was known for some of the most dynamic scenes and some of the best drama of any season.

Dayna also was a part of adapting the successful book, Anna and The French Kiss, which was commissioned by Teen Nick.  She also then joined the writing of the VH1 series Single Ladies and has been working with Queen Latifah since January of 2014.  In addition to this she is also the cousin of Don Cheadle, famous actor and star of House of Lies. 

Dayna also was involved in the trailer of Orange is the New Black in which she worked with some of the most talented minds in the business.  Dayna worked with Miley Cyrus as well as with Issa Rae and Julianna Hough.  

Dayna enjoys scuba diving as well as also spending time teaching and collaborating with her students when she has the time.
