VOTING

Final SAG Awards ballot information postcards were mailed to eligible members on Dec. 31. In continuing our green initiative, we encourage members to vote online. Your voting information postcard includes a link to our online balloting website, along with details on how to retrieve your Awards PIN.  You will need this PIN – in conjunction with your SAG-AFTRA ID number – to log-in to the SAG Awards voting site. This PIN will also allow you access to free digital film downloads and Movie Cash coupons online.

Members who would like to request a paper ballot in lieu of voting online may call our elections firm, Integrity Voting Systems, at (877) 610–8637 before 5 p.m. PT on Jan. 14, 2013 and a printed ballot will be mailed to you. If you return your ballot via U.S. postal mail service, you may not vote online. All ballots, whether submitted online or by mail, must be received by Integrity Voting Systems by 12 noon (PT) on Jan. 25, 2013.

SEEING SAG AWARD NOMINATED FILMS

We have confirmed the following DVD screeners are being mailed to members this year (only those members eligible to vote will receive DVDs):

DVDs will be mailed separately to you from our union mailing house and will be sent out as quickly as possible. Please be patient. All DVDs should reach your mailbox this week or next. Please protect the DVDs sent to you as content theft is a serious issue. More details at www.sagawards.org/DVDs.

DIGITAL FILM DOWNLOADS

Eligible SAG-AFTRA members can screen the below SAG Award nominated films as free movie rentals on iTunes. To download these films, go to www.sagawards.org/filmdownloads and visit each of the special member-only download websites. You will need your Awards PIN to access these sites.

Only members eligible to vote will be able to download coupons. Your Awards PIN will allow you access to a special Movie Cash web page that has been set up only for eligible SAG-AFTRA members to download coupons for the above films.

Please note: Your Awards PIN is valid for one time use only on the Movie Cash site. When you visit the site you will need to make all of your title selections and be prepared to print out all of your coupons at one time. Your PIN will not work a second time on this site.

The coupons are valid at participating theaters only. You can find a listing of participating theaters on the Movie Cash website. Movie Cash details can be found at www.sagawards.org/moviecash.

The SAG Awards will be simulcast live coast to-coast on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. An encore presentation will air on TNT at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. The stunt honors will be announced live from the red carpet on TNT.tv and TBS.com at 6:15 p.m. ET/3:15 p.m. PT.  Please watch!
